Duel ride height

Hi have recently bought a L322 3.6l RR Vogue SE. Drives really nice but have an issue with the ride height(I think!)
All functions work ok ie selecting access, normal & off road heights however occasionally it seems when accelerating up an incline I get the dreaded ‘Restricted performance’ message followed by x3 warnings stability control, forward alert and emergency brake assist not available. When the vehicle is stationary and engine switched back on I am requested to select the ride height as it shows lights for both access and normal lit. When you confirm normal ride height, all is good and you can carry on your journey.
The air tank is a bit rusty and probably needs replacing, but there is no air loss overnight in the system so am at a loss as to what’s causing this problem.
Anybody had the same issue or can offer possible fixes pleAse?
Any help would be vm appreciated.
Thanks for reading.

The flashing access and normal height LEDs indicates that a problem had occurred that now requires the operator to confirm the desired height. Stability control warnings generally trigger safe height which has access height as maximum height. Restarting after such a fault can leave the suspension module wanting to be told which height is now required.
Fixing the restricted performance and stability control issues should prevent the height issue.

Thanks for the quick response Graeme.
Just to clarify, you think the fault is with the stability control and the ride height issue is just as a result of this?
Also, Would the restricted performance warning be as a result of a stability control issue or do you think they are x2 different faults?

The fault codes need to be read to provide the starting points.

Ok so I checked the inter cooler pipes on top and whilst one was spongier than the other, both were free of splits or any holes. I then noticed one of the elbow hoses on the rail was kinked and the jubilee clip had dislodged under the elbow. Refitted and fingers crossed all seems to be working fine even uphill under acceleration.
Thanks for comments which led to the solution (I hope!)
