My brake fluid holder does not a max/ lowest indication as far as I can see. Should the correct level be at the joint level on the top and bottom section of the container? Wondering if its too low as it is now.

I presume there would be a warning on the dash or should be if low.

Got some warnings up on the dash in yellow which I will be getting looked at a local garage next week.

I find that when you put the stem back in the level rises somewhat, so fill a couple of millimetres below the max marker. Once you put the lid back on, it should show nearly full.

If you need more space, you can put the bonnet into service position:  2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

As an additional suggestion :
DON'T top-up to the MAX line if your pads are already well worn OR you'll need to be prepared to siphon fluid out when you need to put new pads in.

The MIN line is there as an indicator of the MIN acceptable fluid level & not an indication that fluid needs adding. Paul,

Thanks to everyone. I found the max line as said but wasn’t able to see the actual fluid level due to yesterdays light here. All was well when I rechecked and not therefore responsible for my dashboard warning lights. Got it in a garage next week for them to check them out.
