United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black
Roof box and roof bar mounting question.

Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying a roof box for my FFRR to help carry our camping gear to the south of France in August. I don't fancy the roof rails and looking at the roof bar mounting positions, I'm worried they are too close together and too far forward to fit a large roof box such as the Thule Atlantis 900. Do any of you chaps have any experience with roof boxes on the FFRR, if so will one fit on the standard mounting positions?

Cheers,

Justin

Thule roofbars with an 'old 1997' Autoform 500 [low profile version]. Used it originally on the classic and now the ffrr. Works for me.

Thanks guys,

Does that mean the Thule bars don't attach to the standard mounting points?

Correct Thumbs Up

They clip under the door opening.

This may help:
