Hey guys, not a smoker and was wondering if anyone has one of the following as I would prefer a cup holder to an ashtray.

But do you not have two cup holders already in the centre console just forward of the ash tray you're seeking to remove ?

And one or two bikes - Ok, maybe more than one or two....

Correct however they end up holding things like keys and coins etc which leaves me a cup holder shy in the front... I know it is a strange one but I do not use the ash try or even the lighter socket for charging...

On mine it is just an empty box with lid with no ashtray or lighter socket, I use it to store my Gap tool. Did not realise it is officially a 3rd cupholder. Will have to give it a go soon! Tom

Sure, I'll try to upload one later today.

Basically if you have the ashtray version it has the same sloped lid, but when it is open it is a square box with a flat bottom and nothing moulded inside it. I bought the ashtray version to retrofit if I need the front charger socket but so far just use the one in the main cubby armrest.

If Land Rover are calling it a cup holder maybe mine is missing something, but there is no circular rubber insert or anything on mine, just a square based box which I guess you can jam a cup or can in. Tom

If you want another cup holder how about this.... I take it yours is LHD so you need a panel from a RHD market...

That is a great idea however RHD the light switches are there so I am still short a cupholder.

If you are LHD you buy a dash end from the UK or other RHD market, you buy the drivers side (RHD) and the light switch hole fits a cup holder...  Pete
