Rear Bumper Brackets

I am carrying out repairs to the wheel arches of my 2006 L322 and will probably have to weld in a repair panel. How are the side bumper brackets removed without breaking them?

Carefully drill out the three aluminium rivets and the bracket comes off.

The rivets are trifold so not a standard type, part no. KYQ100010
