England 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Whenever I had a job to do on my L322 or L405 I phone up the main dealer for a price and then congratulate myself after completing the job on how I could now pay for that 2 week package holiday if I wanted to.

I did the rear wiper motor on the my previous L322 having been quoted £600 by LR. The genuine LR part was expensive, cost £150 from memory and then 45 minutes later it was fitted and the tailgate reassembled. That worked out at £600/hr labour.

Everyone knows dealers and independents go off generous book times that bear no resemblance to the usual time taken, especially if its a routine task performed many times. Do it yourself and then head off on that paid for package holiday. It's not a big task especially if you can raise the car on a ramp.
