Restricted Performance - Limp Mode

Good afternoon,
I am having problems with my 2012 L322 4.4 tdv8. It brought up the yellow restricted performance light so I put it in the garage. It came up with a fault with the EGR temp sensor, bought a new one from JLR, had it fitted and same fault appeared. Went onto the forums and the suggestion was it would be the exhaust gas temperature sensor down the side of the engine. Bought one from JLR, bought the special tool you need to fit it and low and behold.... Same fault only it now actually goes into limp mode when you accelerate over 2000revs. It has the newer inlet pipes fitted with the white writing on them and they have done a smoke test with no leaks found. The turbo actuator is moving freely, so I and they are running out of ideas??
Suggestions please.

have you had a HIGH pressure smoke test done? My Pax side inlet manifold head a minute crack in it but set off RP when I demanded power to go up a hill.

Has the MAP sensor been cleaned? quick and easy to do. I can't remember if mine threw a code up or not for it but a quick spray with some carb cleaner and it's been fine ever since. Current

My suggestion. Take it to either T&S Norman in Shepton Mallet or Craig at Cam-Tech and they'll diagnose it in 10mins Thumbs Up Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

what Rob said. Only Steve at Norman's are allowed to touch my RR now. They were the only ones who took time to correctly diagnose what was happening and came up with a correct fix. MD and LR garages all failed to come up with a solution.

I will keep their address and details in my phone for the next time!!

I think it is fixed as the fault codes are all gone and after a 10min test drive, no warning lights or limp mode. There was a chaffed wire to the rear o/s of the manifold that they repaired and the fault codes went!!
I think it was the exhaust temperature sensor fault to start as it came up with a different fault code relating to the turbo boost after that repair was done.

Thanks for everyone's help. I will let you know once I have driven it for a couple of days. 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8
