Viscous fan replacement

Hi all. Managed to break my fan blades. Before I start stripping it, is there anyway of getting the complete fan out without taking the couling off.

Don't know if it helps but IIRC a lot of guys with the TD6 used to run without a viscous fan, the electric fan was sufficient... Thumbs Up

Don't forget the fan has a left hand thread.... Pete

You definitely need to take the cowling off to get the viscous fan off and out.
While it’s off nothing to stop you cutting it into two parts horizontally for the next time.
Only the top half needs to come off then. Thumbs Up
