[SOLD] 2012 Range Rover L322 4.4 TDV8 Westminster | |
Well, after 5 years of ownership I’ve decided now is the right time to sell my Westminster, current mileage is 83,700 miles. It’s been 5 fantastic years of ownership and I’ve loved every minute of it. But with no more caravan to tow and now that I’m working from home doing so little mileage, it doesn’t make much sense to keep it.
I originally purchased it from a fellow forum member in Dec 2017 with 48,000 miles on the clock. Being very particular about my cars, I spent months looking for the right one, and this was by far and away the cleanest well kept example I could find. Since my ownership nothing has changed in that respect, and it has wanted for absolutely nothing.
In 2018 it had a full service at Cam-Tech with the gearbox, diffs and transfer box all done. Since then, I have serviced and maintained the car myself using only genuine Land Rover parts. The last service was Sept 2022 at 80,580 miles and the last MOT was Nov 2022 at 81,110 miles. It is currently fitted with Cooper Weathermaster winter tyres and I have another set of alloys with Pirelli Scorpion Verde for summer use.
For most of my ownership the car has been garaged, but recently I’ve built a kit car so the Range Rover unfortunately had to give way to that!
I’ve got a file full of receipts and a spreadsheet that documents all work carried out even down to bulbs and wiper blades, but here is a quick summary below:
19 Dec 2017, 48,083 miles, bought the car
20 Jan 2018, 49,083 miles, Westfalia towbar fitted
09 May 2018, 52384 miles, Service at Cam-Tech (inc. gearbox, diffs and transfer box)
21 Sep 2018, 57,515 miles, Front discs and pads
30 Dec 2018, 59,765 miles, All front bushes and joints replaced
04 Jan 2019, 59,884 miles, 4 x Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres
01 May 2019, 63,574 miles, Service (air filters, pollen filter, fuel filter, oil filter, oil change)
25 Feb 2020, 71,850 miles, 4 x Cooper Weathermaster winter tyres
19 Apr 2020, 72,801 miles, Service (air filters, pollen filter, fuel filter, oil filter, oil change)
25 Jul 2020, 73,342 miles, Rear discs and pads
07 Aug 2020, 73,647 miles, changed space saver to full size alloy with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyre
02 Apr 2021, 75,676 miles, Starter motor
05 Mar 2022, 80,210 miles, Battery
26 Sep 2022, 80,580 miles, Service (air filters, pollen filter, fuel filter, oil filter, oil change)
04 Dec 2022, 81,279 miles, FSR and blower motor
As I mentioned, I’m very particular about my cars and it’s in excellent condition overall for the age. I’ve replaced some trims, wheel nuts, wheel centre caps etc throughout my ownership to keep it looking as smart as possible. This is all listed in my spreadsheet.
Everything works and it drives like a Range Rover should, wafting along with no rattles, knocks or squeaks. The interior is immaculate, and the paint work is only showing signs of age on the front bumper from stone chips only. But they are so minor they don’t even show up in the photographs. The alloys (both sets) are also immaculate with zero kerb damage / scuffs. The Pirelli tyres on the summer set of alloys have around 2.5mm remaining, and if I was keeping the car, my intention was to replace these this year. The winter alloys that are currently fitted to the car have Cooper Weathermaster tyres all with in excess of 7mm remaining.
Full size spare with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyre never used, date code 4019.
I’ll only be advertising it on the forum for now, as I’m not in any rush to sell and even typing this I’m not sure I’m making the right decision! So, I’d prefer it went to a fellow enthusiast.
£16,000 ono.
