North London Specialist

Did a search and didn’t find any answers that aren’t years and years old.

Looking for a good indi in the N. London area who can have a thorough look over and let me know any preventative work I should be doing. The car as a full main dealer history which doesn’t fill me with a lot of confidence Smile 2018 P400e AB LWB

I am North London and I am not aware of a specialist. But you should consider travelling, it would be well worth the trip. There’s a specialist in Reading (forget the name, something Rover). Or Cam Tech Craig himself a bit further away than that. There is RR London in South London but I felt, the last time I used them a few years ago, they were drifting in quality.

Alternatively, I’d take it to one of those family run local MOT places with a ton of 5 star google reviews and where the guy’s 60+ years old, has probably seen it all and likes to speak his mind. It could get you 75% of the way there at least and the take it from there. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I’ve been asking the same question and looking for ages and come up with nothing. Rover tune in Reading or Glenrands in Hampshire may be your best bet. The main issue I have with long term RR ownership is the lack of a nearby specialist garage. RR london will do you a very good inspection report if that’s all you need. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks for the suggestions. Rover tune isn’t a million miles away so I’ll give them a go when I’m next back in Blighty.

I already know I need the bonnet sensor sorted, either a four wheel alignment or the tyres balancing, and possibly a new battery or two; not sure how many the PHEV has. There also a fair amount of creaking sounds from the steering at low speeds / parking 2018 P400e AB LWB
