Just order 20L, is this good quality oil?

Yes it’s very good oil, we use it in our tractors and 360’s, and the Defender. It meets and exceeds all the required standards - just make sure you get the right grade. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Hi. No expert but have now used S&A oils in both engine and gearbox in recent months. Have had absolutely no issues with either, and will be doing another engine oil service with same again in May this year.  Cheers, Steven.

have used them for a number of years and had no issues,

as Vogue says just make sure you select the correct Spec oil and not just the same grade as they do a few options.

I’ve used them for years now too. They’re excellent. If you’re not sure what you want, phone them and they can cross reference it for you.

I have S&A oils in the engine and gearbox and will use them for the diff oils as well.

I like that there’s an old school technical dept. where you can speak to an engineer over the phone if you have any queries.

Great prices, which helps if like me you change the oil every 6k miles.

I’ve yet to read anything negative about them.

I did read someone on here will not use it as they had problems and blamed the oil.

They've been around since 1920 blending Shell stuff so it's likely to be pretty decent Dec 2021- 2010 Facelift TDV8 4.4 AB in Stornoway Grey.

Used smith & Allen on 5 previous defenders never had any issues with their stuff!
