Navigation losing position

Has anyone else experienced the PIVI navigation lose its position mid journey? It’s happened to me twice on longer journeys. Looks like it’s about 500m off position which sends it loopy. Ending the journey and starting doesn’t help. I had to switch to car play for the rest of the journey.

It’s fine on the next start up. MY23 PHEV HSE

Update

This has been getting progressively worse over the week but I think I fixed it today Very Happy

I noticed the clock was wrong by about an hour, searching for the clock settings I noted you cannot change it manually. It uses a Time server over the internet connection to obtain an accurate time. With my primitive knowledge of GPS I know time is used within the triangulation process so I put two and two together and assumed this is a related problem.

The car clearly had access to the internet as other things were working, playing around in connectivity settings I found my car set to use my phones data. I flicked this off so it uses the cars data and low and behold the clock updated and the nav successfully triangulated within about 30 seconds.

I can only assume for whatever reason the car couldn’t reach the time server through my iPhone and EE connection. MY23 PHEV HSE
