Towbar being installed

have found a nice Westfalia armature and detachable towbar for my 2011 TDV8

it came with the holder for the detachable towbar for the boot - shown as the second photo

but when I tried to place the holder in the plastic cubby box, it does not fit, not sure there is enough polystryrene to cut it to suit, the walls look a bit on the thin side

are there specific cubby boxes for the towbar holder to slot in, it seems a bit weird to me that they would make two different sizes ( one for no towbar and one for the towbar)

I have been calling car breakers but not a lot of late L322 cars in the breakers yards at the moment it seems

The plastic tray is removed completely and the polystyrene holder is bolted to the bracket at the side Thumbs Up Jonathan

…to be fair it does leave a gap around the trim which doesn’t look quite right but that’s how LR designed it Rolling Eyes Jonathan
