i can imagine idiots coming off the motorway still travelling into the services at 70mph'ish so it makes sense to have some kind of deterrent ..

Probably more to do with the easy pickings for the scamera vans. Slow down yes, but 20mph on a "slip road" ? The sensible drivers will already have cut their speed, cutting it further runs the risk of being rear ended by a 70+ mph idiot. |

i think anpr cameras are on all gantry's on the m4 so i doubt a mobile one would be located there. ... - .- -.
