Hi I did get them done in the end. The one furthest forward I got from inside the front wheel well with the plastic under trays and arch plastics removed. You can get your hand and a spanner in and slowly undo it. The back one I got from above with lots of extension bars and a crowsfoot head on the ratchet you ideally need one that's like a brake pipe spanner so it doesn't slip off. Again slow going but possible. Just need a good torch to see them. Good luck with it as it's a horrible job. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

Well done on that, I ended up splitting the injector and that was a big pain in the bottom 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography

i have managed to get the bolt partially out however, it has now seized and from the top i cant seem to get the leverage required! has anyone thought about disconnecting the engine cradle and lifting the chassis? the thought being either drop the engine low enough to get clearance or gaining access to the rear bolt through the wheel arch any comments or recommendations very welcome, this job has already stripped me of my sanity, dignity and many layers of skin! |

On my 3.6TDv8 I needed to lower the subframe while leaving the engine in the same position while changing the steering rack - requiring the engine mtgs unfastened.
