Cheers Pete. I think if it was more than the 40 min journey to view it I would of changed my mind but I’m interested to see if it’s just me having a suspicious mind.

Yep, may as well look if it's that far away... If you like it get a health check done on it at a dealer or specialist... Pete

Looked at the car and the interior was perfect, no scuffs or signs of wear at all. Outside looked like an old dog that had not been touched for years other than a 5 minute job with a mop as it still had compound splatter over it. Upper tailgate was rotten all the way across and a mixture of budget tyres all of which were on the legal limit.

Looking at the MOT history for this car tells a tale. It always amazes me how many people go for test and either fail or get advisories on tyres being close to or below the legal limit. Five times for this vehicle would put me off as I’d wonder what other issues had been ignored. You do right to walk away in my opinion 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

Apart from the interior which was perfect I think the car had been run a shoestring budget from new by the massive gaps in servicing.

ive been looking off and on for five years or so and enjoyed looking at cars (at dealers) even though I wasn't in a position to buy so that it gave me a good feel for a good one or a bad one quite quickly. When ended up buying the one I am in, it was relatively straightforward to determine it was a decent one. Got to see a few dogs to tell the difference. First time FFRR owner |

Over the last few years I've had 3 sports but the oldest one was only 5 years old when purchased. I'm lucky in the fact I know what to look for but never looked at 12 year old Range Rovers before and if I didn't know better, what I saw today would of been enough to put me off buying one if that's what they look like at that age. |

It’s always best to have a look on here to see if a member is selling his car, that way you'll know at the very least some of its gremlins but also that it’s been owned by an enthusiast.

Surrey is only up the road for me, thanks for the heads up on this one but I'm after a Autobiography or high speced Westminster. I'm in no rush and am happy to wait for the right car as it would be a second car |
