best/cheapest European breakdown cover?

off to the Alps this weekend. Anyone got any tips/hints for a good European breakdown company? only going for a week so only 1 trip cover.

eurotunnel?...if so,use their breakdown cover..its as good as any other.. ... - .- -.

Hi, Fyi : I paid £96.04 additional premium from my UK policy for annual cover with RAC (personal cover for any car)

I had RAC european cover which we had to use a few years ago while on holiday in Spain, first class could not fault it from start to finish, recovery to main dealer, hire car, hotel and flight back to collect the car.
