My front left door lock started playing up, in as much as say 1 in 20 opens from the passenger seat wont work. It has always opened from outside. I suspect the issue is the lock.

Rather than wait for it to fail completely I decided to change it whilst it still works having seen on youtube the problems of trying to open the door if it fails completely.

I contacted my local main dealer, Guildford, who wouldn't give me the part number.

Is there a source to obtain part numbers other than JLR main agents.

The car is a 4.4 AB 2013 with keyless and soft close options.

I use this dealer to look up part numbers and order from. There is the same in the UK and others will chime in.
