TD6 battery drain - fuse 27 / BCU?

Got another battery drain on my 2003 TD6, had one about 10 years ago and replaced the FSR and pulled fuse 28 for headlight wipers (not fitted anyway).

The new drains I’ve got are
Fuse 12 -0.26A I’ll order a new FSR and fit.

Fuse 27 -2.36A, then -2.21A when the glovebox light is off. I think fuse 27 is BCU? Is there anything else I can try, before sourcing a replacement BCU?

Thanks all in advance

Also, 2 questions.

If I unplug the BCU/BCM to stop the drain, or pull fuse 27 (easier option) is there anything essential I’d lose for driving?

If I source a replacement part, if the part number is the same is it just a case of plug and play?

Thanks again all
