United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange

Andy Tyldesley owns this car - he was a G4OC member up until 2022 and the car is definitely genuine.
As will all L322s of the age, arches are needed but is low mileage.
Missing both plaques and the lamps and the little spoiler that goes under the front of the rack but the G4OC are looking at getting new plaques made, cheaper than the £800 ones on ebay! 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg

What do these have in addition to a standard car? Other than the history 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

I have serviced it and maintained it and done many improvements on it, one being new radiators due the old ones being full of red Australian sand.

If it's red "sand", it ain't sand. That's dust full of iron oxide and is almost impossible to get out of a car that's been driven in outback Australia.

(ask me about my old Discovery 1)

The original spec of the car for 2003 is here: https://www.g4ownersclub.com/Media/Default...EROVER.pdf

Some had winches, some had A bars depending on where they were used. Andy’s was used on stage 3 in Australia so should have had the winch. The plaques are missing front and rear along with the lights and the spoiler that sits between the rack on the roof. They were based on the 2002/3 HSE model so reasonably well specced but no rear TV’s or wood trim. Grey leather inside and silver foundry trim.

20 years of the first challenge is approaching and these are rarer than the 35th anni models as less were prepared! Verydisco sold his after resto for a good price, it was really well prepared though.

The attraction for me was the noise when I bought mine, then I started learning about G4! 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg
