After buying the D3 new in 2006, I went from a Disco3 SE to a new FFRR 3.6 Vogue back in 2009. Never looked back.

I had a D3 2.7 tdv6 HSE fir six years and loved it, very practical and refined, moved on to a late 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westie the difference is like night and day, and the Range Rover is better on fuel on long trips as the engine doesn’t need to work hard to get it upto speed I’m sure the 3.6tdv8 is a revaluation compared to the D3, there are only two things I miss from the D3, first is the ability to take 7 people when required and the main one is the boot in the D3 was way more practical for us with a big dog as it had separate rear AirCon to keep the old boy cool, but I wouldn’t go back, the Range Rover is a great thing to waft about in 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

Yes, it is the cavernous boot space and hidden storage I'm going to miss. Let's hope Wafting makes up for it. |
