L405 2018 boot won’t fully open

Guys as per the title my 2018 new to me l405 boot won’t open fully. Any suggestions how to resolve. Off of the key and the button on the boot it only opens 60-70%, previously was working.

sounds like it's lost the calibration, IIRC, push open to the height you want it / maximum extent, then press and hold the button on the tailgate for three seconds or so until you hear a chime from the dash.

Good advice from Pheonix above, also search “battery” threads on here as talgate issues can point to a weak battery or charging issues, the tailgate is the Barometer of the L405 battery. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

I forgot about that! if it will fully raise with the engine running, then it's a battery issue, if it's the same, then it needs recalibrating.

@Pheonix,

Glad that’s helped, good luck in sorting your battery issues Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
