DPF full, look at the Manual

Following problem with my car, Range Rover 2008 TDV8
Error code in PCM ... P2459 ff

I drove the Motorway for 20 minutes, but nothing happened.

Next try, Motorway and start the Dynamic Regeneration (Gap-Tool), unfortunately the speed always remains at zero, and remains red .... So the regeneration is not started ....

Any ideas?
Where does the OBD get the speed signal from?

Hello,
has done ... the guys from GAP Tools helped me ...
had to update the tool twice and then the Dynamic Regeneration worked ...

Great that you've fixed it but I thought DPF was only fitted to Range Rovers from 2009!

Moving forward. If your DPF has become full or not regenned I suggest watching it closely for a while. Regens should start around 19.7g - full chart below for L322 2010-2012 - should be similar for yours.
The DPF is the receptacle or symptom for another issue and is rarely the cause of the problem itself.

19.7g Demands Regen
23.3g Amber Warning On
27.5g Red Warning On
17.46g Amber Warning Off
21.25g Red Warning Off
28.5g Maxiumum soot level accumulation before regen is inhibited
31.5g Soot level accumulation in DPF Filter is stopped

Welcome to the club Ultron...

Mine just had a visit to the garage, it seem's even though you've got the red light, driving it at constant speed (autobahn ohne stau) for 40-50 minutes with a warm engine cures even a splitting hangover.

In the 2008 models, the DPF, in Germany, could optionally choose ... unfortunately mine has one


I had before the dynamic regeneration. 37.6g (gap-tool) and now I have 6.2g (gap-tool)

Theoretically yes ... but difficult in Germany ... you would have to leave it in the papers ... and you need official documents from Land Rover ...
As long as he works again ... I'll leave them in ...
