IIDTool feature check …

I have an IIDtool but I’ve not linked it to the new car yet (2015 4.4 tdv8).

I’m needing to do a bleed on the dynamic response system which needs a diagnostic tool to initiate so that the valves open when the car isn’t running and the fluid can pass through to be bled.

From reading the gap website, its not clear whether the iidtool offers that function.

Can anyone who has an iidtool registered with their l405 tell me if that’s a function that’s listed as available in the options ? There seems to be 2 functions … auto bleed and manual bleed … either would be enough for me.

I don’t really want to spend £80 on a new licence when it would go a long way towards an Autel unit which definitely lists it as a function it can do … and I would also fund with selling the iidtool. V8 or else ...

Did you managed to get the iid tool bleed procedure work? I couldn't find any information around this. Can you share what is the procedure if you've gotten around it?

Engine start or just accessories power on?
When hitting the function on iid tool, do I follow up with air bleed from the bleed nipples on the antiroll bars?
Or do I keep hitting the function until I dont see any air coming up on the reservoir?

Appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

I've not updated the tool to see if there is now a feature, but I'm not aware of it present as yet.

That said, I'm less bothered by it not existing as it would appear that the system self primes and bleeds after being filled from empty through normal use. V8 or else ...

When I spoke to Pat last year it was being looked at, don't think it has come out yet... Pete
