Looking at getting the auto box serviced in new year.

Couple of questions,

Can anyone recommend a place in Doncaster ?

What do I need to do eg any filters, does diff need doing etc ?

The bus has 80k on her and she’s a 2015 my.

Just to give you an idea on price for the gearbox a specialist gearbox company quoted me just under £600 with the correct fluid for a full flush, main dealer just under £1000. overfinch modified

Do you know what a full gearbox service should entail so I don’t get sold a pup ?

Just had the oil changed in my auto box (100k miles) cost about 500 quid at Green Oval in Leeds . Hasn't made any difference as far as I can tell but I get the piece of mind that now all the fluids have been changed. They have another place in Wetherby I think but I don't know if thats near Doncaster - it's all Yorkshire to me  Geoff

What was the reason you didn’t change the pan filter if you don’t mind me asking ?

I didn't look or ask I'm afraid just let them get on with it, they are very helpful on the phone so it might be best to ring them and ask. I also took the opportunity to look at a map and I see Wetherby is further from Doncaster than Leeds - doh!  Geoff
