EV battery suddenly drains

My PHEV har been pretty faultless regarding EV mode during last 3 1/2 years , up to 30 miles in EV mod during summer and 20 miles in cold weather. Last month there has been a loud sound from the battery area when connecting the charger cable, but the charging proceeded as usual. Last week the EV battery has drained for no reason while parked. No climate control has been activated and the charging cable has been disconnected. Lost 35 % overnight , and the fuse blew while attempting to charge. Has anyone experienced anything like this ? Time change the battery ?

I thought that for PHEV it was 8 years:

2019 RANGE ROVER
PLUG-IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLES (PHEV)
PHEV traction battery warranty: 8 years or 160,000 km, whichever is sooner, and 70% State of Health (SOH).

Check the coolant level for the battery, if it's low, it may have an internal leak in the battery - which needs addressing sooner rather than later. There will be relevant DTC's stored or current, EV systems have far more monitoring than other vehicle systems due to the technology & high voltages involved.

Yeah, checked with JLR - early batteries are 5 years.
