England 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Sumatra Black

JCW - that's good news, I entered a couple of reg numbers when I was on the hunt for a 15/16/17 L405 and did not see any that were ULEZ free in MY15 and MY16 - will probably have another hunt for one next year when prices are a little more reasonable

JCW - pretty sure that not all MY16 are ULEZ free - see below as an example, reg no. OY64 NPA on the ULEZ checker website

https://ulez.co.uk/you-need-to-pay-ulez/?vrn=OY64NPA

and I have done about 20 others as well, all come up with the £12.50 ULEZ charge

That example is a 2014 (or early 2015) 64 plate car, so won’t be compliant (stop/start & Adblue started from mid-late 2015 MY16 onwards models).

Here’s an example of a late 2015 SDV8 that’s compliant

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2...posit=true

Per the official TfL checker

https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/check-your-vehicle/Results

When I was looking, all the 65 plate SDV8’s I considered were ULEZ compliant - not to say there are some that aren’t, esp. given TFL’s reputation for patchy data Whistle

I think the stop/start is the key when looking for one it's on the centre console.

That’s what I thought and checked on adverts when buying previously, however the example I’ve linked to above for sale on Autotrader doesn’t look to have the start/stop button on the centre console, yet is showing as compliant on the TfL checker???

As a 65 plate, I’d assume it’s an MY16 with Adblue, although it doesn’t look to have the heated seat controls on the temp. dials which I think is another MY16 giveaway, so maybe not, but it’s compliant according to TfL in any case.

The TfL checker contains errors. My car is a 17 plate SDV8 with Adblue, stop/start etc and TfL says it's liable for the ULEZ charge. I think it's because I've got a personal plate on it. I don't venture into London, so it doesn't bother me. All of the other ULEZ areas state that the car is compliant and no charge is due.

On the V5 the Euro status is blank. On other docs/apps it states that the Euro status 'not available'. 2017 SDV8 Autobiography

That car is a 15my although it states 65 plates sept reg, it has the older info mat screen so will not be ulez compliant, I could be wrong.

The TfL checker does state it’s ULEZ compliant, rightly or wrongly!

In any case, MY16 SDV8 with the stop/start and Adblue are Euro6 and ULEZ compliant and were available late 2015 onwards (mine was a 65 plate) Thumbs Up
