I'm sure jmc on here is an expert on photography, he's the man to ask and I think even Stan is too from what bits I've read. |

Ah jmc I mentioned you as I've seen some of the stunning pictures you've taken and not only that, the back of your fatty resembles a mobile Jessops lol. But tablet photo editing I thought you might have some knowledge about. But to be honest, I think there's a fair few editing apps about that do a better job than paid for apps.

If it was me wanting to use Adobe Photoshop, then I would be looking for a fair bit of power, min Core i5, 8gb ram as a minimum, storage to suit yourself.

Don’t forget that you may want to examine your photos in great detail so I’d suggest getting the largest and highest resolution screen that you can. A quality monitor would use up your entire budget so maybe look at refurbished MacBook at Apple Store? |

I use a MacBook Pro 2018 13" screen with i5 2.3Ghz quad core and 16GB of RAM and it handles photoshop well, the screen size could do with being bigger when editing. If you must have a tablet, I'd be going for the biggest screen iPad Pro I can manage which will be a similar performance to my Mac First time FFRR owner |

I'm also a bit blinkered when in comes to tech and I guess I'm what the unkind would refer to as an Apple Fanboy but although I have an iPhone but I bought SWMBO a cheaper alternative (Android based) I struggle a bit with it but generally get there in the end but its not as simple as photos on Apple, all my gear is synchronised, iPhone, iPad, iMac, Apple TV like I said a Fanboy after years of being forced to have Windows by my employers.
