According to the parts catalogue, the TPMS sensors on the L322 changed in 2010 so the pre 2010 and post 2010 use different sensors.

I've got a set of 4 sensors here that I'm planning on fitting to the wheels on my 2007 but am not sure if they're the correct ones for the car.

Does anyone know what the differences are?

Can't help with the differences but my 2008MY is perfectly happy with 2015 L405 TPMS sensors.
Are the ones you have from fleabay? If so, they may be in shipping mode, only specific TPMS diag. kit can switch them to park mode - and no, the dealers don't have the kit...

No, the sensors I’ve got are from a member on here. He bought them for his car but had a 2016 so had the wrong ones.

I got these ones from him when he changed them for the right ones on his.

You should be good to go then!
Part numbers can be changed for lots of reasons, change in supplier, specification or in response to a TSB etc. To be honest, I was expecting to have to change the sensors ( I acquired six wheels & tyres, two came with sensors, four without) on mine but happily they worked OK in conjunction with the fleabay ones I got, (P/N LR070840) which needed taking out of shipping mode.

Does your SC already have monitors fitted David? Or are you fitting to add them to your virgin car?

It’s already got the receivers in the arches thankfully. I think it’s just been turned off and the sensors removed.

Tempted to try a retrofit on our other one as jacking with the steps is a pain so a warning that they’re low would be handy!

Does the wheels you use on your SC have the TPMS sensors in already?

No, I’ve bought a set ready to go in them from another member on here who bought the wrong ones for his 2016 L405.

I was going to suggest popping them in the boot when your next driving and see if over the next 10 miles or so, they throw up flat tyre faults! If so, maybe they are the correct ones?

That won't work - they need to be registered in the TPMS module first. They will auto-learn as running sensors due to the initiators triggering them, the spare only sends status every 13 hours unless the pressure has dropped and needs to either be a previously running wheel (but will be inhibited from triggering a dash message if it was the cause of a running low pressure message) or registered by a TPMS tool or diagnostics as the spare, only one spare can be registered.

TBH it'd be less hassle just to fit them, you only need to break one bead and compress the sidewall down enough to remove the rubber valve stem and slide the sensor in.

The tyres I’ve got have got the foam blocks in the middle of them so am just a bit conscious about compressing them incase they come unstuck.

I’m also fed up removing the wheels from this thing

Well the other option is to cable tie and duct-tape them to the wheel spokes, the 'learn' drive needs to be a solid 20 mins above 12.5mph (I think, could be kph) Don't bother with one in the boot, you'd have to be really lucky for it's 13 hour interval to coincide with your learn drive...
