Short answer - No! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

Out of interest what is the latest dvd map version that will work in my pre facelift 2009 car? And where is the best place to get it? I imagine the disc in there is the original unless dealers updated them at service intervals (which I doubt).

Kit I bought that exact 2018 disc for mine on my 2008 and works very well so far. But obviously it won't pick up any new built roads like the A14 at Peterborough etc etc. But then I only usually use mine when I'm near to where I need to be. But in all honesty, I find the satnav useless. I used it once on my way to the office from home, Lichfield to near Bristol and tried to send me down the M4 then M32. My work is only 15 minutes of jct14 off the M5. So now I hardly bother with it. Plus I'm used to my TomTom with traffic and that can't be beat imho. |

I agree it is unlikely to be much use but the car idiot in me just wants it to be as up to date as it can be. 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8. |

Got round to loading the 2018 sat-nav disc in the car, took a couple of goes for some reason.
