Ultrasonic cleaner for £20.... Yesterday I saw an ultrasonic cleaner, labelled as a 'Jewellery cleaner' in an Aldi store, tested it out on small items, seems to work a treat, will take components up to the size of a pair of spectacles. Quite handy if you want to clean small fiddly components and and cheap as chips. Comes with three year warranty, use these at sea (Albeit much larger versions ) it can be used to clean sintered filters / silencers etc. No fancy chemicals needed.

I really should stop buying more tools, to date my research suggests that there is no known cure for this addiction especially if, like me, one does not have a SIWMBO to put the brakes on such purchases
