Hi all

I am looking to gt some replacement exhaust pipes made to cate for aftermarket. cats.i could go with lots of welded sections as there are. lots of these places but this costs time and money in lots of welding.

Can anyone recommend anywhere with a mandrel bender?

I found one company near Birmingham MjI but they wanted £1200 to make two bits of 2.5inch pipe with 4 bends in each - I was providing the muffler and having the centre boxes out that seemed extortionate - I was thinking less than half that . Happy for mild steel no one is looking under their Current stable:

Biggest cost is labour, the material doesn't add up to much so may as well go stainless, that is a daft price, a couple of hundred quid should see them done... shop around...  Pete

Dan, if you’re down the A14 anytime near Bury St Edmunds, there’s a guy at Risby behind the Coopers Cabin truck stop called Olly that does custom exhausts, nice guy as well.
He used to do all A14 Tyres exhaust work & has now gone on his own, clever guy.

I rang two powerflow centres both tried to tell me mandrel bending is no old and welding sections together is the best. Both quote £850-1000.

Found one in Maidenstone who will bend for £650 so I will keep looking but getting better Current stable:
