L322 key programming

Hi to all…..my first post so I hope it’s okay. Bought a tidy L322, 2004 TD6 and dropped my Autel MX 808 BT scanner onto it for a fright…..works well and not too many issues. I also want to program a couple of new keys as the old ones are hanging and see that there’s the facility to do this. Anyone tried it out and what results? Thanks in anticipation. Present cars.

I did a lot of research for my car and I'm pretty sure that's not possible with the BMW electronics. You need to remove the immobilizer unit and program a key into it with a spezial software. That's how the company who did my key told me and it worked out.
There is also a tutorial here somewhere how to do it by yourself but it requires some extra hardware.

That’s great……thanks for your reply, I guessed it wouldn’t be straightforward. Cheers. Present cars.
