Auto box oil change

Land Rover say change the Auto oil at 10 years or 160000 miles.
My car is coming up to 8 years and 87000 miles but is a keeper and I am thinking it may be prudent to do a bit early.
Other than it is not a cheap job are there any reasons not to and are the Land Rover timings optimistic.
Anyone had it done, anyone not had it done and had problems. letters not necessarily in the right order

England 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor

Got mine booked in for a gearbox oil change in a couple of weeks time, it will actually cost more than the service I am having done at the same time - as well as the MOT, 4 new tyres and 4 wheel tracking. Its a big investment well over £2k but I'm doing it because I want to not because I have to. Hoping to keep the car, its about 9 years old and just over 100k miles. Geoff
