Digital speedo for 2010-12 models with Gap IID tool

I got asked this on another thread so thought I'd give it it's own thread.

How to get the digital speedo to show in the bottom half of the analogue speedo...

Connect the IID tool
Select Car Config

Agree to load the CCF

Select IPC Instrument Pack

Display Digital Speed and then choose the units...

Load the CCF to the vehicle and it will magically appear....

Other options I like are dead locking on single key press and fold in mirrors on locking.... You can find them in the CCF as well.... Pete

You can also activate forward alert in the menu settings and set the speed alert to complete your Speedo display.

Forward alert and speed warning can be controlled though the digital dash without needing to use the IID.

Another one to activate in the CCF is the seat lowering on exit. I find this especially useful in addition to the steering wheel retracting. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I don't think icarsoft has the capability to edit CCF files... which is why the IID attracts the price it does. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Cool - Thanks!! Thumbs Up

Now, does anyone know how to get the other display window (the one in the rev counter) to show what gear the car is in rather than just a "D"? Question 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD Sad

Thank you for the suggestion, but when i tried this I found that it also changes the gear (unless already in top) and puts the vehicle into "manual mode" as well as the desired change to showing which gear I am in.

I was looking for a way of permanently showing the gear number when in automatic mode the same way is it displayed when in manual mode. My 2005 Audi A3 did this as standard and I am just a bit surprised that an 2010 L322 does not.

But it looks like no one else knows how to achieve this either, not a big deal in the scheme of things, - First world problem!! 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD Sad

I'd like a gear indicator (touching the paddles activates command shift) and also a bigger digital speedo readout.
Someone needs to hack the instrument display...... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

In case you don't already know, holding the paddle for a few seconds puts the gearbox back into full auto mode.
