DCSM Drivers Clim Seat Fault

can anyone throw light on this one, my heating of drivers seat still works, so maybe it might
be the connections under the seat - anybody had same error using GAP IID tool ?

An IID tool is a double edged sword, if the seat still works then just leave it alone.... Thumbs Up Pete

This fault occurs quite frequently just simply when the BCM loses contact, which could be a battery reconnect, seat ECU boots before the BCM, or even an engine start. If everything works and easy entry/exit is all working (which is what the BCM would trigger), then, clear it and ignore it. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

thank you - have cleared the fault, with engine running and drove over to my Dad's house, 40 mins journey, then came back home and fault has come back Sad

fortunately, my seat controls all still work, and air suspension - the "Access Height" button on the drivers door to lower the suspension to get out of the car is working as per normal - so nothing seems wrong

what do you mean by "Easy Entry/Exit" - is that something I can enable using GAP IID tool, or is it an option that I might not have, it would be nice to turn off the engine and the suspension lowers itself without me having to push the "Access Height" button
