I've got a DeWalt inflator that I keep in the car. A bit expensive, but as I already had the batteries, man maths kicked in Smile

It's a fantastic piece of kit

May i just mention? If your going to fit a set of locking tyre valves then you really MUST put some vaseline on the valves first... Corrosion causes the two metals to seize. Then your are really stuck when you get a genuine loss of pressure and the valve cap either seize or shears off! Trust me It happens all the time...

Very true Craig. I bought some posh stainless steels caps for my old car. Never again!!

Thanks for that rambling man, I really do need to get something like that. I have suffered at that hands of these do-gooder knobheads. While watching the Highland games in drumnadrochit, some Censored let down my tyres whilst it was parked in a field and mine was the only range rover parked there. Not sure if they got disturbed as only 2 got let down and only about half way. But just shows how stupid they really are, the didn't notice the petrol station right next to the field, so 2 turns of the steering wheel and I was at the air machine.

Fitted these at the weekend
https://amzn.eu/d/8oXLRxK
Used Molycote brake grease on the threads. They need a key to fit them unlike others which have an allen key lock which seems easy enough to get hold of. The Tyrextinguishers manifesto seems to say deflating tyres is not criminal damage but slashing tyres is so they don't ask people to do this. If my tyres were flat I wouldn't risk reusing them due to possible damage to the sidewalls so not sure how this doesn't constitute criminal damage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
