Headliner at top of boot wet

My headliner is getting wet at the top, when I bought the car 6 months ago I noticed it was falling down a little bit, over the last few months it seems to be getting worse.

Its not exactly wet though, its slightly damp so wherever the water is coming from its only a very small amount.
Bear in mind the rain has been mental over here the last few months, so even with the volume of rain its still only damp.

There's no water in my spare wheel well and no signs of it either.

It could be the seal at the top of the tailgate, or even the feed to the rear wiper motor.

Those would be first things to check. Then sunroof drains.

Cheers mate I will check them as soon as this Censored weather passes.

It also looks like the headliner has fallen down a little, its no longer underneath the seal, there is a gap at the top, id say I could get my finger in it.

see if you can put your hand in there and touch the underneath of the antenna ..if its wet then the water is coming in from there.. ... - .- -.

The pics look like an early car. Don’t think it has an antenna.

Its a late 06 it has a black shark like fin on the roof.

I'm gonna have a look at it when I get home e from work.
I'm thinking it is the boot seal, could it be leaking from where the seal meets the hatch.?

If its where it meets the body I could run i bead of black sealer along it

It might be worth applying some waterproof tape along the top of the body to tailgate open joint and see what happens.
Similar with the shark fin. At least then you will probably find the leak before trying to sort it.
My money would be on the shark fin. Thumbs Up

At least it is good weather for finding leaks. Very Happy
