Having been a long term RR fan and currently owning an Evoque and a L494, I thought it was high time I tried a L405. When I purchased my 494 new in 2014 the MD let me have loan of a SV Autobiography as a possible exchange/upgrade as I wasn't overly keen on the L494 and spent more time driving my L320!

Anyway I loved the SVA, but not the price tag!! Here we are a few years later and I managed to drop on a rather unique SVA with a 4.4 SDV8 as opposed the normal SC unit. As I do lots of miles, the SC was a major no-no!

It's a LWB, which I don't mind as I really don't park in many public places, so the size of the thing is no major issue. As we travel down to the south of France on a regular basis, I've now found myself sitting alone up front while the wife and daughter relax in the back

The original purchaser spec'd the car via the ETO (engineered to order) division of Landrovers' SV dept. and had the paint matched to his Aston Martin - China Grey. It has all the SVA luxury and being a diesel, it's not far off the economy of my L494 SDV6.

I've attached a few snaps, but in all truth, it could do with a good clean.

Absolutely no problem whatsoever size wise, I'm always careful where I park in supermarkets and the like, apart from a bit of an overhang in some spaces it's fine. I also have a 494 and this doesn't really feel any bigger. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

That does look rather nice in the back. If I bought one, I think I'd need to employ a driver
