United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black
And what we've got is a dead shark.

I know I only post here when I have problems with my RR and I'm sorry for that. I don't want to be that negative hate filled guy, however, when it comes to my RR I am full of hate and negativity towards it.
Again it has broken down.
After running perfectly for, ooh at least 6 weeks, I went to start it Tuesday morning and nothing happened, the familiar low rumble of the my glorious V8 was nowhere to be heard - all the dash lights came on but not a peep from the engine. Naturally I thought the battery might be flat so I attempted to jump start it sadly this resulted in nothing more than sending the electrics into some sort of fit and locking me in the car. Like a man buried alive I desperately clawed and fought my way out (through the rear passenger door) and now my car/coffin will no longer lock or respond to to anything, not even sweet talking or swearing.

Can anybody tell me what the problem might be??

Also would anybody like to buy a Black V8 Vogue. As soon as it's fixed it's being sold.

Good advert that Whistle

Have you checked the Battery - source of most RR problems....

New Battery should reset everything that did not fuse....

does sound like a dodgy battery...dis-connect it and by the time you have fitted the new one, hopefully the ecu's would have been reset..

I know what you're saying, but I wouldn't sell it to a private individual and lie about what a hateful Censored time I've had with it.
I'd feel bad.

The battery was replaced the last time a few months ago.

Exactly!!!

I didn't realise you were a dealer until after I'd replied, so if you could kindly ignore my comments I'd be most grateful.

Good.

So as I was saying, sadly I'll soon be selling my beloved Range Rover - It's a perfect car all round and a fine example of this wonderful marque!!

Please feel free to pm your interest.

on topic...

if the current battery has been discharged by some fault you have then this could be the cause of the non-start...
