Doing the torque converter on my 06 car , following a youtube guide that sats i need to unbolt the TC before pulling the box off , i cant find / see anything to undo ! Does the 06 box just slide off ???

Have you looked at the workshop manual rather than YouTube ?

I think one is downloadable in the forum wiki or definitely available online.

Always best to read the source material rather than someones interpretation of it.

The TC will be bolted to the flex plate that is the equivalent to a flywheel but the TC stays with the gearbox when the gearbox is removed. Other vehicles have an access hole that allows 1 bolt to be removed then the TC rotated to access the next bolt so I assume the same on your vehicle.
