Rear diesel drive belt

I have been told that the high pressure diesel pump belt at the rear of the engine requires body off and there fore leave it alone,it’s a 2012 SDv6 2012 Range Rover sport hse,any advice muchly appreciated

It doesn't have to be done with the body off. It can be done in situ but it's a whole lot easier with the body off. Kev

I’m assuming it’s a similar job to the D4 given that they are almost the same underneath, in which case mine was done in situ albeit on a 2.7 but afaik it’s basically the same..👍🏻 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Rear belt is most definitely not a body off job. Shouldn't really take any longer than 2hrs or so to replace

Be aware though, that it is timed Thumbs Up
