Thanks Gavin, so I just need to use the bolts which are already on the car.

Mike, I did this recently too. A couple of comments to consider, first I didn’t need any additional bolts (it mounts onto the rear bumper and existing tow bar eye and similar mount on the other side of the rear, see picture). Second, check your armature is for the same year car you have. The exhaust hangers on them changed with the facelift so fitting a pre-facelift armature to a facelift car require cutting off the exhaust mounts and re-using those from your car.

Also, good luck. Fitting a tow bar is a big job and not for the faint hearted (as ignorant me found out after work in December, in the freezing cold) 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8 |

Also, good luck. Fitting a tow bar is a big job and not for the faint hearted. If you want any tips or a bit of a guide, PM me, as I also have a 2011 and fitted mine myself. I'd suggest a jack or axle stands to support the exhaust silencer and also get the tube of trusty lube out for the exhaust hangers. Also, on the previous towing eye assembly which you need to remove, there is a welded nut on each side for the exhaust brackets. One of mine was completely seized so, I took it off the car, angle grinded the nut off and just installed a replacement A4 grade nut and bolt. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8 |

Hi David, that's fantastic, thank you very much. The armature is brand new, from JLR classic parts (it looks to be sold out now) - https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/v...=21C020405 Cheers Mike |

Brilliant, thanks for the offer and guidance Gary. I've fitted a towbar to my old Freelander 2 and I have plenty of jacks and axle stands and a keen father in law to help! Cheers Mike |

I found it incredibly satisfying fitting the tow bar to our old L322, a good opportunity to also hit most things with dintrol
