Are they handle covers..? if they are you will feel an edge where they go over the originals, some come without the key hole so you have to remove the drivers small cover, they are stuck on with double sided tape so can take a bit of doing... Pete

If you buy a set like this you get the option.... you can see the shape of the handles in some of the pictures so you can see what you are looking for........

I managed to prise this off earlier today, and manual unlock worked.

If you have no warnings showing I would guess at a dying battery..... Pete

You can measure the alternator output while the car is running. But if it was really bad it would be giving you a warning on the dash (red battery sign) and several beeps from the boot area buzzer or whatever is in there. I think there are no alternator related codes to be pulled but don't take my word for it as it's experience from the M62.
