Change the anti roll bar drop links, they are cheap and easy enough to do... |

I’ve changed the anti roll bar bushes and link bars as suggested and agree that I have to find a good Independent. Just surprised that the garages I have used can’t answer it? Perhaps they didn’t look for sub frame bushes etc but it does handle well. I do have an Independent not so far away but he is known to be a bit of a rip off merchant.

Have you tried a wheel alignment? I had a clunk / knock from the rear right. Had it realigned after replacing the rear diff seal and the noise was gone! |

Good morning guys, we had exactly the same symptoms on the RR we "borrowed" for a year, it came with the knocking and I did most of the things mentioned above but still couldn't find it, then one day when the car went in for its MOT, the tester "found" the fault. It was a loose bolt on the steering rack, a quick tighten up and, noise gone!!

Yes, it can indeed be something as simple as a loose nut. I thought it was the rear subframe bushes in my case. Glad it wasn't.
