Best wheels for l322

So after reading a few threads I'm curious to know what peoples thoughts are on wheels for the L322.

I have a set of 22" on mine, when I bought the car I had intended on replacing them anyway, but they are wearing pretty bad now on the front so I won't have much left in them.

But I'm not sure what is the best wheel, I like the look of the original 18" but are they too small.? There is a set for sale for 400 euro all with brand new tyres.

There is a set of westminister wheels which I think look amazing on the range rover, they are the 20" with the 255/50/20 tyre. Theses need new tyres though as they are perished.

What about the rrs wheels.? There is also a set of stormers for sale but they are 275/40/20.

Its limited in Ireland on what is for sale theres not as much choice here.

Plus the roads are pretty Censored too in the country

I have had a number of L322s. personally 19s or 20's I currently run 20's on 255/55 which work well, we live on a single track road which is Censored and that's the best we have had, hope that helps Thumbs Up

potholes and rough roads dont suit anything but 20'' wheels/tyres.

look for L405 255/55/20'' on ebay.. the 55 profile will give you extra comfort and will fill in the wheel arch better..

if you want to see what L405 wheels/tyres look like on a L322 then have a butchers in this section, there are a few threads re this..

also, dont get aftermarket , stick to genuine landrover wheels. ... - .- -.

Cheers lads Thumbs Up

I like the l405 style rims but there's none for sale over here. Theres a few on ebay but postage is mad money.

How do the rrs rims fit on the l322, are they suitable.?

There's this breaking near me and I like the look of the rims, not sure if they're genuine or not but im not interested in rep.

I have the 22" tiger wheels on mine at the moment, two are real overfinch, two are reps, and both have been welded i would say they are buckled also.
I need tyres on the front and dont want to fork out for two 285 40 22 tyres to put on Censored wheels.

I like my wheels. Standard on the Autobiography, I had them refurbished in Dark Shadow Chrome .

I have D4 19" rims (2015/16) fitted with 255/60R19 GG AT3. They're 31" (same dia as L405) and have the same sidewall height as my previous 275/55R20 and 255/60R18 (rims won't fit over the 6-pot brakes). These tyres are a little harsher riding than others that I've used but I wanted a tyre for my farm, gravel roads and tracks yet a good tyre on sealed roads.

RRdunc they are the wheels that I want on mine theyre are one of the best looking I think, there is a set for sale over here but they need tyres, there is tyres on them but they are badly perished. I think the guy is asking for too much for them if I'm honest.

What style are these wheels.?

It might be the angle of the photo but it looks like two different pairs of wheels there.
TBH, I think you'd be better getting some D3 or D4 19" wheels & tyres in the interim whilst you find some rims at the right price - also watch out for bent rims on the inner edge, those 'Culchy' roads will do that even to LR rims - the Mrs. is from Dublin and we've driven around a fair bit of the south, mainly taking avoiding actions around every puddle....

I think you're right you know, after looking at them they are different, you can see it in the other photos.

I've a few stories from trips down south, notably Castlelyons.... Fr. Ted would think them a bit 'local' Wink

They are a pretty nice wheel also, what style are they.?
I like the original look wheels but they are hard to find over here, there's loads of 22" ones for sale but they are way to big.

I will keep a look out what comes up over the next few months
