I did indeed open the boot alone, was browsing my mobile like a distracted teenager, proceeded to chuck my bag in along with my keys and closed the tailgate.

Arr yes, I remember now, don't think I ever used that feature as I always wanted to get in if I opened the boot...

Seems silly the button unlatches the boot rather than unlocking it..

Good luck with getting in... Thumbs Up Pete

Accessed by an auto electrician with a never say die attitude that followed a method similar to the one PMd to me, but with a couple of additional steps. --------

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Hi guys.. I have just done the same thing whilst refitting my reversing lights.. I’ve open my tailgate on the fob and then shut the tailgate with my keys in the boot.
Can someone tell me this method of getting into the boot please?

Thanks very much
