did the filter on our 4.4tdv8 a few weeks back

You need to bleed it using the Schrader valve under the engine cover - easier if you have someone to turn the ignition key on & off. |

Ah. I saw that valve and wondered what it was. When I worked out that it was in the fuel system, I prodded it open with a small screwdriver and some air came out. I will work on that in daylight tomorrow. Many thanks. |

Stuff plenty of rags around it or you'll smell warm diesel on the engine for weeks after....
