Replacing bluetooth module

Just tried to replace my bluetooth module, but couldn't get it out! Probably because it was getting dark, but I'm assuming the torx screw that holds it in is in the middle of the unit, and is therefore very limited access with everything in situe? Is this correct? Do you need to undo the nuts which hold the bracket onto the chassis to get better access?

Anybody who's done the bloototh swap and can advise me I'd be very grateful, I've heard it's a 10 minute job so I'm probably just being stoopid! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

no need to remove the bracket nuts, but it is a bit awkward as the screw is recessed into the top of the module. I just used a torx bit on a small ratchet. A job best done during the day methinks! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

As above: Halfrauds ratchet spanners come with a hex screwdriver bit adapter which makes it easy. I've also got some other tool sets from snap-on.

If you're struggling I can post you a bit adapter on loan. Thumbs Up

take the 2 m6 nuts off the bracket at the top that holds the full bracket and it will take you 2 seconds to then get the torx screw out. Rolling Eyes no need to buy small ratchets etc

You were right Big! Still a bit fiddly, but got there in the end!

Anybody know why only a limited number of contacts appear to be synchronising? Also what other new functionalitiy comes with the new software? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!
