As the title really - the 'Powerful' chrome trims claim to fit externally 02MY - 10MY, has anyone fitted the later P/N (LR011475 and supersessions) to an 08MY or earlier? I'm conscious that the plastic of a 2nd hand one from 08MY vintage will have degraded somewhat and new ones are not good value, Ideally I'd like to get a later one and paint it the correct colour.

Alternatively, has anyone successfully repainted their 06MY - 08MY bonnet grille in 'Brunel Grey'? I'm not a fan of chrome, I'd like to keep the look as close to the original as practicable. Thanks.

Eta I'm referring to the one on the bonnet with the screen wash jets fitted to it, not the one in front of the bonnet.
